Dominic is the God of Death and Rebirth. Dominic is the deity appealed to when a religious 'Life-giving" is administered. He guards the Gates of Oblivion and it is his decision whether a soul is returned. Dominic is more inclined to allow the return of a soul whose mission on Therodon has not been completed. If the being in question has lived a full life, or has died in a significant and meaningful way, he will usually deny the soul's return.
Dominic's choice of Essænce falls into three realms of power as well. Essence, Channeling, and Mentalism. But many of his followers feel his influence directly through the use of Channeling.
