The God of Evil

Shaitan is the God of Evil, the Prince of Darkness, the brother and enemy of all the Gods, or so he believes. While Dominic is the God of Death, he is a clean ending, with the release of the soul. Shaitan's death is a tortured sacrifice, where he drinks the blood and devours the very spirit of the dead. He is the Soul-taker.
Shaitan aspires to greatness and seeks to claim the entire land as his won, cursing the dead to walk the Lands in eternal torment. Shaitan is the most warlike of all the evil gods and the most feared. He has no reservations about using his power to grant favors for his followers or to punish them severely. He is the father/creator of the Orcs, Trolls, Goblins, Hobgoblins, demons and many others.
Long ago, Shaitan fled along with many of his followers to the Forbidden Territory during the Age of Fear. No one is for certain what lies beyond the shadows. Not even the children of the Gods when they went to retrieve the Orb spoke of what they saw there.
There have been no witness of his foul workings in our fair land, but this isn't to say Shaitan isn't preparing for yet another war. Clerics of Shaitan are the evil of evils; they live only to inflict torment on other souls. They are self-serving and do not usually hold any friends, they may be of any evil alignment (chaotic most popular). They usually dress in all blacks or dark reds or browns and usually wear armor (they are soldiers).
Shaitan and his followers are turned back by the lovely but inexpensive gem called Dominic's Tears and the Orb of Chaos. Shaitan himself can overcome small concentrations of the gems but they can literally kill his priest if they come into contact with the Tears. The Orb itself can inflict a great amount of damage to Shaitan and as well, kill his priest if they are in the same vicinity of the Orb. The symbol of Shaitan are Skulls.
Shaitan's choice of Essænce falls into the three realms of power as well. Essence, Channeling, and Mentalism. But many of his followers feel his influence directly through the use of Channeling. But Shaitan hunger for more. He hunger for the most rarest of magic found on Therodon. He hungers for the magic used by many of Taws' followers. Yes, what Shaitan hungers for will also be his demise, soon. That magic he hungers for the most is Arcane Power.....
