Ghim began his life in the Temple of the Red Lords at an early age. One of the high priests recognized the boiling fury mounting inside of the young boy at an earlier age than was normal. During his training Ghim excelled at all of his teachings, especially in the use of a Battle-axe as well as controlling his frenzy to a masterful level. As Ghim grew older he began to distinguish himself amongst his peers. A veteran of several skirmishes against invading orc hoards and in some cases the sole survivor of the conflicts; he rose quickly through the ranks.
After becoming a veteran and decorated hero, Ghim joined the town militia. This is when the dreams began. Vivid dreams of intricately crafted armor, helm, gauntlets, and battle-axe. Even brief glimpses of their resting-places. He also dreamt of a traveling minstrel that would begin his journey toward finding of these items. Thinking it as nothing but a dream he put it off and never thought of it again. One night after his shift Ghim went to the local tavern for his nightly constitutional of meat and mead. But to his surprise the minstrel that was in his dreams was playing that night.
Unbeknownst to him, some of his dreams would become reality this night. Attending the performance this night were a pair of Imperial Lords of Order as well as a Chaos mage amongst the normal denizens of the bar. The minstrel's story seemed to hit home to several members of the crowd, especially Ghim. After the story the crowd began to disperse. All that was left in the tavern was Ghim, The mage, one of the Lords of Order, and a small group of men. Within a few moments some sort of conflict arose between the mage and the lord, resulting in the lord falling over unconscious.
This seem to upset some of the drunken men in the crowd and they proceeded to advance upon the mage. Not wanting to see the mage set upon by what seemed to be overwhelming odds, as well as not knowing the capabilities of this mage, Ghim decided to intercede by throwing a bench into one of the group to try and diffuse the situation or at least get into a good fight to break the monotony of his duties. After a brief conflict and a session with the justicars, Ghim returned to his barracks to ponder what his next course should be.
After the incident Ghim approached the high priest with his story. The High priest told him that it was time for him to reacquire the lost relics of his ancestor for the upcoming battle between good and evil. And that he was an important factor in the outcome of said battle. Realizing that he had been quested by Reann to find and obtain these items Ghim set out to hire a navigator to take him to Emer, where it is believed to be the resting-place for the armor. This turned out to be the reuniting of Ghim and the Chaos mage Harkone. What will happen from here? Where will their journeys take them? Only time will tell
