Many have said that many items on the World of Therodon were lost during the last War of Dominion. Many are, to this day, searching for those lost magical and unique items and what they plan to do with them? No one is for sure. But below, I'll tell you of some of those greats objects that have been found, those are the ones marked in yellow, the ones in blue are in varies people possessions, those in gray are those items that have been rumored destroyed, and those in red are items that have been lost.
This list is constantly updated by my workers, so yes, this list is in no way complete.
Gauntlets of War: These steel plate
gauntlets add a special bonus of +15 to the wearer's DB and a special
bonus of +7 to the wearer's Athletic - Brawn Skill Category. These
gauntlets are in the possession of Ghim.
Shortsword
of Bleeding Wounds: +10, on a "C" or "D"
critical it causes 1 hit point per round of additional bleeding; on an "E"
crit it causes 2 hits per round of bleeding. This sword is in the
possession of Cassandra.
Emerald
Ring: +2 Essence adder.
Wand
of Light: +10 Shockbolts or Lightning bolts, free use of other "Light
Law" spells to 9th Level. It has a Medium (+0) Attunement.
Platinum
Ring: x2 Channeling multiplier.
Shield
of Justice: This +20 White Alloy wall shield gives a special bonus
of +20 to the wielder's DB and functions as a x3 PP multiplier (the PP
multiplier is keyed only to Paladins). It also has a Will. This shield is
in the possession of Ghim while he seeks out the temple of the Holy Order
of Justicars.
Staff
of Healing: This staff is made of oak and has three bronze rings
affixed to the head of the staff. Found in the ruins of the Temple of the
Healing Hands, the staff was taken by a Sister of the Temple of the Joined
Hands and then later returned to a Priestess of the Temple of the Healing
Hands.
Book
of Runes: Bound in red leather with a lock and protected by a
constant Rune of Coldball, this book contains "Dark Contacts" &
"Dark Summons" to 15th level. The book is in the possession of
Harkone.
Incunabula
of Mazarin: This very rare Elven book contains the Arcane Sell
lists: "Entity Mastery", "Ethereal Mastery", "Metal
Lore", and "Stone Lore" to 12th Level. This metal-bound
book has a Will and will prevent anyone not an Archmage or Hybrid
Spell-user from touching it if it wins a Will contest. It is also
protected by a Rune of Disembowelment. This book is in the possession of
Harkone.
Crystal
of Will: When this quartz crystal is clutched, all Mentalism
attacks are at +1- and all RRs vs. Mentalism are modified by +20. Also, it
acts as a +2 spell adder for Mentalism and adds +50 to Will-vs-Will
contests. It has a Light (+10) Attunement.
Stone
of Seeing: A 4" sphere of blue quartz crystal, any spells cast
through by a Seer, Astrologer, Archmage, Sage, or Dream Lord will cost
one-quarter normal points to cast. It has a Hard (-10) Attunement. This is
in the possession of Charin.
Orb of Chaos: This smooth, black
pearl stone with the highlight of every color of the rainbow within it,
has innate properties which suggest an almost 'heavenly' origin. "Evil"
beings or creatures which serve the Unlife or those who seek to control
the Orb itself must make a RR vs 30-50 level when in the vicinity of the
Orb. The rainbow of the Orb will brighten and swirl stronger within and
wash the area in a brilliant glow. The Orb is under the protection of
Allya's people.
Tome
of Power: This large leather-bound volume can be read once per
decasde, for after being read its letters fade until the beginning of the
next decade. Reading it takes one month of uninterrupted study, which the
caster must spend 5 hours daily reading and get at least 10 hours of sleep
each night. At the end of the month, the reader will have completely "learned"
any 1 spell list to 50th level. The book is in the possession of Harkone.
The
Crystal Skull: Made of flawless quartz by an unknown artisan from
some lost civilization, the skull has many powers: Sentient. Possession
- any who touches the skull must resist a 10th Level attack. Fascination
- those who look upon the skull must make a RR vs. 5th Level or be unable
to look away or do anything. Debilitation - every hour one spends
in the vicinity of the skull (30') necessitates a RR vs 5th Level. Failure
indicates a loss of one point from 1-4 of his temporary physical
characteristics. Unlife Control - anyone who is able to master the
Will of the Crystal Skull may be able to control Undead. Unlife
Creator - there is a 1% chance per month that any dead creatures
within 100' radius of the skull will become various forms of undead. Necromancer
Multiplier - Skull act as a 4x multiplies when held. Dark Law
- anyone able to overcome the Will of the Skull may freely cast any spell
up to 20th Level of the Necromaner's Base List "Dark Law". This
Crystal Skull is the one of the many keys Shaitain is looking for to open
several Portals and send his minions through and dominate Therodon once
and for all. It is in the possession of Tytus who is now under the control
of Shaitain.
The
Shadowstone: Also known as the Dark Jewel - it is not
subtle in power or appearance. An oval, smoky, crystalline stone about
three inches long, it is multifaceted, though the pattern is so convoluted
that it is either the work of the tortured earth or of an insane jeweller.
The jewel pulses with an angry red light when its powers are being drawn
upon. It is and has always been set in a vertically encircling band of
star iron, and is attached to a heavy chain of the same dull, black
material. As with all things fashioned of star iron, the seeting and chain
have a rough look. But only star iron is worthy of holding the
Shadowstone, a jewel of power which goes beyond the Eternal. Legend says
that one of Shaitan's faithful follower crafted the stone. It has the
power to destroy material things, it desires to destroy the
spirit.
Armor
of the Beserker: Full suit of armor that protects as AT 20, +20
magic and punture crits are lessened in severity by one column. This is
now in the possession of Ghim, who has dreamt of this armor and was
quested after.
